Privacy Policy

Template notice. This document is a plain-English working draft published to support the site. It is not final legal wording and must be reviewed and approved by counsel before launch.

This policy explains how DroneTech Aerospace Ltd ("we", "us") handles personal data in connection with DTA Inspect Cloud (the "Service"). We are the data controller for the personal data of our account holders and website visitors, and a data processor for the inspection content our customers upload.

What we collect

  • Account data — name, work email, company and role when you sign up or contact us.
  • Usage data — how you interact with the Service, for security, billing and product improvement.
  • Customer content — the imagery, findings and reports you upload, processed on your instructions as your data processor.
  • Billing data — handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card details.

How we use it

To provide and secure the Service, process payments, respond to enquiries, meet legal obligations and improve the product. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your inspection content to train shared models.

Where it is held

Data is hosted in the United Kingdom. Where a sub-processor operates outside the UK, we put appropriate safeguards in place. A current list of sub-processors is available on request.

Retention & your rights

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. Under UK GDPR you have rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Data portability is also built into the Service — you can export your content at any time.

Security

The Service enforces tenant isolation at the data layer, encrypts data in transit, and follows a documented breach-response process (affected customers notified without undue delay; the ICO within 72 hours where required).
